In a single moment everything that is established in this world can change, from the air we breathe to the earth we stand on. Even the people we know can disappear in the blink of an eye.

Cities can be leveled, towns can be burned, people can die, and all can be forgotten. Even when standing amongst the ruins of the old world there is no way to know everything that once was. There will always be something that cannot be brought back, there will always be something forgotten.

I imagine... that even though time passes us by, memories fade, and history is lost, one thing remains constant.

Hope.

Even in this world of destruction and despair, people have formed bonds that cannot be broken, even by the looming threat of ruin. There is always hope to be found.

When hope fails... that is when we will truly meet our end.
